Juniper Networks has announced appointment of Hansjoerg Wagner as Senior Vice-President, Asia-Pacific (APAC), based in Singapore. He will report to Vince Molinaro, Executive Vice- President, Worldwide Sales. In his new role, Wagner will be responsible for all the aspects of Juniper’s business activities across the Asia-Pacific region, including customer engagement, sales development, training and enablement, strategic planning and revenue growth.
He succeeded Douglas Murray, who spent more than two years as Senior Vice-President, APAC, and will return to the U.S. as a member of Juniper’s Customer Leadership Team, reporting to Molinaro.

Wagner brings more than 20 years’ experience in the field of execution, in both service provider and enterprise industries, to his role. He was most recently at Polycom where he held several senior leadership roles, including President for APAC region and Senior Vice-President for Global Field Operations. Prior to joining Polycom in May 2006, Hansjoerg served as Managing Director of Packeteer Asia-Pacific (now BlueCoat).
