Hughes Communications India, Ltd. (HCIL) has been chosen by NIIT Technologies to connect police stations across the state of Jharkhand under the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System (CCTNS) project, a project part of India’s National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). The equipment order value is Rs 16.7 million with a 4 Mbps recurring bandwidth requirement.
