HCL Technologies has grabbed yet another big deal. According to a latest update, HCL Technologies has won an over $100 million (Rs 540 crore) multi-year infrastructure services management contract from automaker Ford Motor Company.
Prior to HCL Technologies, Ford had outsourced Southfield Michigan-based IT company Stefanini for desk side services. HCL Inforsystem will start working on Ford’s project from April 1, 2013.
Insiders informed, Stefanini is mulling to lay-off 107 employees who were handling the process for Ford.
However, it is difficult to anything for now as nothing has been said officially and spokespersons from both Ford and HCL Technologies declined to comment.
