The expanded collaboration combines HCLTech AI Force with Pega Blueprint to help enterprises replace outdated systems through AI-driven automation, cloud-native application development, and industry-focused modernization strategies aimed at improving agility, efficiency, and long-term scalability globally.
HCLTech has announced an expanded collaboration with Pegasystems to help enterprises modernize legacy technology systems using artificial intelligence-driven automation and cloud-native application development. The partnership combines HCLTech AI Force with Pega Blueprint, a move aimed at accelerating digital transformation projects for enterprises dealing with aging and fragmented IT infrastructure.
The companies said the joint solution is designed to help organizations move away from outdated systems while improving operational flexibility, reducing technical complexity, and enabling faster adoption of AI-powered applications. The initiative focuses on simplifying modernization efforts that are often slowed by high costs, long implementation timelines, and risks associated with legacy infrastructure.
AI-powered automation to drive enterprise transformation
Under the expanded partnership, the combined offering will leverage generative AI and agentic automation to streamline the discovery, documentation, and transformation of legacy systems. The companies said the approach is intended to minimize manual intervention and shorten the time required for modernization initiatives.
The solution also aims to help enterprises fully retire outdated systems instead of simply migrating them. By generating future-ready application designs, automated workflows, and migration-compatible data structures, the companies expect organizations to transition more efficiently toward cloud-native environments.
Another key focus area is industry-specific modernization. The collaboration integrates domain expertise from both organizations to ensure transformation strategies align with sector-specific requirements and scalability needs. The companies added that the initiative is intended to support enterprises in reducing technical debt, lowering total ownership costs, and enabling more agile business operations.
The partnership also seeks to simplify cloud adoption by enabling faster deployment of applications on the Pega Platform while supporting ongoing optimization and innovation.
Executives highlight long-term modernization strategy
“Our long-standing partnership with Pega continues to inspire real innovation. By combining HCLTech AI Force with Pega Blueprint, we are making legacy modernization faster, smarter and more accurate. This solution reflects our vision to lead in AI-driven transformation and deliver genuine business value with minimal disruption,” said Sadagopan Singam, EVP, Global Head of Enterprise Platforms and Edge Services, Digital Business Services at HCLTech.
“Organizations need to seamlessly modernize legacy systems faster, while maintaining enterprise-class scalability, security, resilience and transparency,” said John Higgins, Chief of Client and Partner Success at Pegasystems. “By working with HCLTech and leveraging AI Force within Pega Blueprint, we’re helping clients accelerate application and workflow modernization with speed, quality and measurable outcomes. We’re excited to deepen our partnership with HCLTech and help clients transform and reimagine their legacy applications.”
The announcement reflects the growing focus among global technology firms on using AI-driven automation to modernize enterprise systems and accelerate cloud transformation initiatives across industries.
