Huawei launches Mi-Fi , Wi-Fi Data Cards

Enhancing its product portfolio further, Huawei has reportedly made an announcement regarding the launch of Huawei E3131 Soft Wi-Fi data card and Huawei E5331 Mi-Fi. Both the products are three times faster than any other Wi-Fi Data card.

Wi-Fi data cards are small devices that allow multiple gadgets at the same time to access Internet wirelessly, thereby removing the need for several network connections, messy cables and offer a single bill. With its latest announcement, Huawei has introduced a series of Wi-Fi data cards- E5331 Mi-Fi, E3131 soft Wi-Fi and already launched earlier E355 Wi-Fi dongle in the open market. These Wi-Fi dongles are three times faster than traditional 7.2 Mbps D/L data cards, connect up to 5–8 people at a time and offer convenience and compact solutions to their users.

The Huawei E3131 Soft Wi-Fi data card comes with a feature of offering Wi-Fi Hotspot, a software solution for computers to share the Internet connection with other device(s) via Wi-Fi.

The idea behind the launch of these Wi-Fi dongles is to provide ‘connectivity on the go’ to our users. The number of Internet users has grown by 16% over the last year and we expect the numbers to grow to up to 150 million by the end of 2012. Indian SMEs and households need telecom solutions that are quick and easy to deploy, offer cost-effective connectivity and fit smaller spaces while maintaining global standards. Huawei has launched these Wi-Fi products keeping in mind the growing Internet needs of multiple Indian segments.”
