Huawei Telecommunications has showcased its various solutions being offered under the Smart Grid segment. The company is participating at the ongoing "World Smart Grid" conference happening in Mumbai from 13th to 16th September, 2011.
Navodit Kumar Garg, Dy. Director (Verticals) Enterprise Solutions, Huawei Telecommunications said, "Better adoption of smart grid solutions will pave an ideal way towards a better connected world. If we talk about the power sector, today we are experiencing trends like distributed generation, two way power flow installation and data integrity. We have transmission losses on one side and load consumption on the other side. In a situation like this, seamless implementation of smart grid solutions will definitely provide the much needed next generation technological roadmap for this segment."

Under the office automation segment, we are providing solutions like VoIP and enterprise collaboration platform. We are also providing our tele-presence solutions that are directed towards reducing the cost of running an enterprise especially across different regions. We have solutions that can provide real-time surveillance of power plants," he further added.
