IBM has signed an agreement with LeasePlan India to support and manage their multi-vendor IT environment. LeasePlan chose IBM for its proven expertise to provide a single consolidated maintenance services contract for both IBM and non-IBM hardware products to ensure better vendor management and tracking.
Being an operational car leasing company, LeasePlan delivers a comprehensive range of corporate car mobility solutions. Right from helping corporates design their car policies to day-to-day management of the vehicles including repair and maintenance, insurance and end of term resale, LeasePlan is a preferred fleet management partner for leading Indian corporates and multinational companies. LeasePlan decided to make a strategic investment in multi-vendor support to manage their IT infrastructure, including hardware & onsite support, across all its locations in India to manage its risk better and enhance efficiencies.
According to Harsh Yadav, HOD - Information Communication and Technology, " We needed a single point of accountability for all technical support services to manage our complex IT environment. Teaming up with IBM has ensured high availability of immediate and efficient service levels, thus helping us maintain high customer satisfaction levels."
Y. V. Seshiah, Executive, Maintenance & Technical Support, said, "By placing all hardware maintenance with one single services provider offers tangible benefits as businesses are under pressure to reduce costs, improve service and manage risks. IBM's maintenance and technical support strategy is aligned with the needs of dynamic infrastructure to provide a continuum of support services for the total IT environment, including other vendors' products. Considering this, we were uniquely positioned to help LeasePlan."
