Infor to offer SaaS to Clients through IBM SmartCloud

IBM and Infor have entered into a strategic agreement to provide the clients with a broad range of cloud-based enterprise apps for business innovation. This partnership will let Infor to offer its software through IBM's public, private and hybrid SmartCloud services.

To leverage the benefits of cloud computing to run business critical applications on the cloud, both Infor and IBM  have agreed for the agreement according to which Infor's industry-leading CRM, ERP, financial management, human resources, business intelligence and other offerings will be available on the IBM SmartCloud, optimized for mission-critical, enterprise workloads.

Infor will hence offer its software portfolio as Software-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service through IBM's standard public cloud and premium managed cloud services, as well as IBM’s private cloud solutions such as PureSystems and SmartCloud Orchestration, which tap OpenStack.

Many clients will also be able to get benefit from running Infor's software on IBM SmartCloud Enterprise+ (SCE+) which is a managed Infrastructure-as-a-Service cloud.
