Infosys has partnered with US-based financial institution Citizens to support the launch of an AI-first Innovation Hub in Bengaluru, India. The hub will help improve Citizens’ banking operations, product development and customer systems. As part of the engagement, Infosys will act as a strategic delivery partner and provide services across AI, cloud and cybersecurity. It will use its Topaz Fabric platform to help integrate data, applications and workflows and support the development of AI-enabled capabilities.
The initiative builds on an existing partnership between Infosys and Citizens focused on AI transformation. It aims to improve operational efficiency and simplify delivery of new banking services.
Dennis Gada, Infosys’ EVP and global head of banking and financial services, said that financial institutions face the dual challenge of rapid modernisation and delivering better customer experiences. “The collaboration will enable Citizen to adopt an AI-first operating model and become future ready,” said Gada.
The Innovation Hub is part of Citizens’ ongoing efforts to cultivate a skilled global workforce and integrate AI across its technology ecosystem.
The bank expects this to strengthen innovation, efficiency, and resilience at scale.
Citizens Financial Group’s chief information officer and head of enterprise technology and security, Michael Ruttledge, said leveraging the company’s expertise in financial services and the Infosys Topaz Fabric will help Citizens in accelerating innovation.
