International Airport installs Morse Watchmans’ Key Watcher System
To provide key capabilities such as automated tracking, alarm, controlled access and reporting functions, asset management solutions provider Morse Watchmans has announced that its Key Control Solutions has been deployed at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This deployment will help to maintain strict security procedures for the safekeeping and access of facility keys.
In today’s airport reality, whether it is passengers, cargo or equipment, it is all about security. Our key control systems provide Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport with the most reliable, effective and efficient means for securing and tracking large numbers of facility keys,” said Fernando Pires, Vice-President Sales & Marketing, Morse Watchmans.
As an added safety measure, alarms can be triggered for certain predetermined circumstances such as the use of force to gain access or remove a key, invalid user codes, a door left open for more than 10 seconds after use, power failure, a key missing or not returned on time or a key returned by the wrong user.
The KeyWatcher system offers an increased level of security and control by preventing unauthorized key access and reducing the incidence of lost or misplaced keys. Using this installation, all activities at Sky Harbor Airport will be automatically recorded including user, date and time of key access/return. Requested reports can trace key movements by time, date and user code as well as audit reports that track keys in use, overdue keys and inconsistent key usage.
KeyWatcher systems used at the Airport were configured and installed by Genesis Resource, which is a provider of Morse Watchmans electronic key control systems.
