With an aim to delight customers, Intex Technologies has unveiled its latest smartphone Aqua i6, powered by recently introduced MediaTek second generation quad-core platform, MT6582. Based on a 28nm process, the chipset is designed for smartphones with high performance using four energy efficient Cortex A7 cores, clocked at 1.3 GHz and a Mali400MP2GPU both from ARM.

The Aqua i6 sports a 5” FWVGA display for crisp and superior visuals and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad core processor.
The smartphone features latest version of Android OS Jelly Bean (4.2.2) and comes with dual camera - 8.0MP rear camera with flash and 2.0MP. The phone has an internal memory of 4 GB and can be expanded up to 32GB. The phone offers a host of connectivity options such as 3G, HSPA, Wi-Fi Hotspot and Bluetooth 4.0 for uninterrupted browsing or files transfer experience. The 1900mAh battery lasts for more than 6 hours and gives a standby time of 220 hours.
Priced at INR 8990, Aqua i6 will be available in two colors (Black and White) across 40,000 plus dealers, reseller outlets, INTEX SQUARES (exclusive retail stores) and leading e-commerce portals.
