
Intending to revolutionize entry-level smartphone market in the B & C class cities of India, Intex Technologies has announced strategic alliance with MediaTek with the launch of Cloud X3, which is powered by technologically advanced integrated chipset: MT6572. Cloud X3 is a Dual-Core SoC with integrated Wi-Fi, FM, GPS and Bluetooth functions. This technology will further simplify and enhance the user experience for the smartphone users in the country.

Intex is targeting a revenue growth of more than 400 per cent this fiscal from mobile vertical with smartphones being the contribution driver. With the launch of new range of smartphones, Intex aims to meet the business volume targets of 20 million pieces in this current fiscal. The company also plans to extend the entry-level smartphone range to 10 models by September 2013.
