Kankana Barua joins Tally Solutions as Chief People Officer

As part of an effort to strengthen its people practices, Tally Solutions has announced the appointment of Kankana Barua as their Chief People Officer. In her current role, Kankana will head the HR team and thereby be responsible for the evolution of Tally’s HR processes, going forward.

Prior to this appointment, Kankana has worked for around eight years with the Jubilant Group in different capacities. Formerly, she was the Senior Vice-President and Global HR Head at Jubilant Global Drug Discovery & Development. At Jubilant, she was instrumental in creating a scientific organization that spanned across the globe. Prior to Jubilant, she held the position of Senior HR Manager at Samnar Specialties. Kankana has also worked as the Head of HR/IR/Legal at the Assam Tea Corporation. Previous to that, she was the Group Company Secretary at IFB, Kolkata.
