Lenovo leads Tablet market: Says IDC Q1 report
According to the IDC’s first-quarter (AMJ) FY 17-18 report, Lenovo leads the tablets category with 21.8% share, beating brands like Samsung and Datawind.
Lenovo has gained the top spot in the tablets category with a Q-o-Q growth of 12.6%. Significant wins from government, education and large enterprises helped the company’s commercial tablets business gain strong traction in this quarter. Additionally, Lenovo tablets have seen a significance increase in traction across e-commerce platforms. Lenovo Yoga Series and A-series Tablets propelled Lenovo’s industry beating growth. Over the last couple of quarters, Lenovo has recorded stable growth in the tablet market in India.
