Logitech has introduced the Logitech Professional Presenter R800 and the Logitech Wireless Presenter R400. With laser pointing, wireless convenience and intuitive slideshow controls that can be found by touch, Logitech's new presenters enable the user to deliver a more effective and powerful presentation.
"Today, it has become a necessity to have presenters for making effective presentations without any hassles. With Logitech Professional presenters, we have made sure that it is easier to stay focussed on the audience instead of on the computer. Presenters can maintain eye contact as they wander freely about a room, without running back and forth to their PC or awkwardly signalling for someone else to push a button to go to the next slide," said Subrotah Biswas, Country Manager, India & South West Asia, Logitech.
The Professional Presenter R800 provides an easy-to-set timer with silent, vibrating alerts. The timer, displayed on a 1-by-1/2-inch LCD, is large enough to see with a quick glance and vibrates when the user has five, two and zero minutes left to present. Once the timer hits zero, it begins counting upward for up to 60 minutes so the user can see how far he/she has exceeded the time limit.
The Wireless Presenter R400 provides a red laser pointer that is easy to see against most backgrounds. A battery power indicator ensures the user always has the power needed to finish the presentation, while a range of up to 50 feet (15 metres) lets him/her move around the room for more engagement with the audience.
Both presenters feature a contoured shape that feels great in the hand and to make set-up and transport easier, both presenters are plug-and-play and require no software. When it is time to pack up and go, the receiver stores in the presenter, while a carrying case ensures that the presenter is protected.
