Mahindra Satyam has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Intertek to collaborate on Smart Grid-focused testing and engineering activities. The MOU outlines plans to jointly improve advisory, inspection and certification services, enhancing Mahindra Satyam's efforts to deliver end–to-end engineering solutions to smart grid clients.

Mahindra Satyam is said to begin integrating Intertek's satellite Program in laboratories to conform to current smart grid industry standards and regulations. Under the agreement, Mahindra Satyam has claimed to serve as Intertek's partner for testing various industry standards in the smart grid business vertical.
