MapmyIndia has launched CarPad 5, the next generation of MapmyIndia's connected car products. CarPad 5 is an all-In-One GPS Navigator, Smart Phone and 3G Tablet, which runs on 1GHz Samsung processor (Cortex A8, S5PV210), Android OS, built-in 3G & Wi-Fi and has a 5 inch capacitive touch screen. The new navigation device is pre-loaded with Aura, MapmyIndia’s fully 3D and connected GPS navigation interface.
CarPad 5 has a host of in-car productivity increasing features built around MapmyIndia's Aura maps. These aims to offer real-time traffic updates, house level search, security (track and trace), discount offers in the vicinity etc.
