With Hyperscape Capture, users can scan a room within minutes and later experience a photorealistic VR rendering of that space. While scans are quick, Meta noted rendering may take several hours. Early demonstrations include Gordon Ramsay’s LA kitchen, the UFC Apex Octagon, Chance the Rapper’s House of Kicks, and influencer Happy Kelli’s Crocs-filled room.
At launch, Hyperscape will be available only to users 18+ and will not yet support multi-user access. Meta confirmed that private invites will roll out later, with gradual availability across devices.
Meta also revealed a lineup of blockbuster VR titles arriving this fall:
● Marvel’s Deadpool VR
● ILM’s Star Wars: Beyond Victory
● Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked
These additions underscore Meta’s push to make Quest VR gaming more engaging and content-rich.Horizon TV Adds Disney+ and More
Entertainment is also getting a boost as Horizon TV integrates Disney+, ESPN, and Hulu, alongside a new deal with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse. This partnership will deliver immersive horror experiences for hits like M3GAN and The Black Phone. Fans will also enjoy exclusive VR content, including a 3D clip of Avatar: Fire and Ash.
With Hyperscape, new VR games, and Horizon TV upgrades, Meta continues to position the Quest platform as the gateway to the next-generation metaverse, blending entertainment, gaming, and productivity in virtual reality.
