MSI has launched its new Fuzion series of mainboards. The Series consists of two mainboards: P55A-Fuzion for the Intel mainstream platform and 870A-Fuzion for the AMD mainstream platform. The boards make use of the advanced Fuzion Technology, which is powered by the Lucid Hydra chip and allows for the ultimate multi-GPU flexibility. The boards support "normal" CrossFire and SLI modes, but also support the ability to mix and match VGA cards from different vendors. The new Fuzion series also boosts performance by combining an ATI Radeon with an Nvidia GeForce.
In addition, the boards come equipped with Military Class Components like Icy Chokes, Hi-c CAPs and Solid CAPs for high stability and an extended product life. The boards support the latest ultra-high-speed transfer technologies like USB3.0 and SATA 6GB/s and also come with the MSI exclusive overclocking utility OC Genie. The P55A-Fuzion supports MSI's exclusive Super Unlock technology to allow for overclocking clock rates to reach an astonishing 4Ghz. The 870A-Fuzion performance can be boosted greatly by its core unlock function. These boards offer the best multi-GPU in the mainstream market.
