Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has extended its push e-mail service till 30th June, 2011. The service was launched after the company tied up with Bharat Berry Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The one-month free trial for Bharat Berry services has been further extended and MTNL Mumbai subscribers can avail the complimentary services till 30th June, 2011 on the MTNL dedicated SMS number 51122 for those subscribing for Bharat Berry services. Any existing Dolphin subscriber can just send an SMS with "SUB BB" on 51122 and follow a few basic steps to activate this service.
Push e-mail, which is generally device dependent, provides an always-on capability by which new e-mails are actively transferred. This service is considered to be a much better option as compared to the pull e-mail option.
