North American Video (NAV) is offering Oncam IP, 5-mega pixel and analog, 3-mega pixel 360 degree cameras to its valued clients. The cameras, with award-winning Grandeye technology, enable 12-bit 5- and 3-mega pixel colour and image processing along with sophisticated video analytics.
"NAV has a history of offering leading-edge technology as an integral part of our video surveillance and security solutions, and the Oncam IP and analog 360 degree cameras offer technologically advanced functionality and performance," said Daniel Jackson, Systems Specialist, North American Video. "They are strong additions to our product line and maps well to our commitment of adding value to our integrated solutions," he added.
Oncam Global's cameras are designed with several features that are essential for 360 degree persistent situational awareness, including on-board camera generation of multiple, independent perspective-corrected virtual camera views (up to four), each of which can be controlled manually or by using the in-camera video analytics. The cameras also feature support for electronic pan/tilt/zoom functionality throughout the entire 360 degree field of view during live viewing or playback.
Complete scenes can be viewed in panoramic or multi-view screen mode. The latter is supported by the camera and may be amalgamated at the client's end in either the NVR or on a PC running a standard Web browser. All Oncam 360 degree cameras generate ultra-high-resolution images that are captured using high-performance fisheye lenses.
