NEC has appointed Rajan Verma as the head of its Public Safety and Identity solutions business in India. Rajan will be responsible for driving the growth of NEC's identity solutions business in India, with special focus on criminal, civil identification and banking segments, and to strengthen NEC's capability as a system integrator in India.
In an effort to replicate the global success in India, Rajan will be responsible for identifying strategic new business and partner opportunities in the public safety space. Rajiv Bhalla, Country Head, Sales & Marketing, NEC India, said, "The public safety and identity solutions business in India has tremendous potential.
