NEC STEE Cloud Services (NSCS), a joint venture company between NEC Asia Pacific (NEC APAC) and ST Electronics (Info-Software Systems) has commissioned its data center for cloud services in Singapore. This is claimed to be the first data center in Southeast Asia and is located in Singapore to kick-start the cloud business in the Asia Pacific region leveraging the combined technological strengths of Japan's NEC and Singapore's ST Electronics (Info-Software Systems).
NSCS is said to deploy regional service network that provides businesses with high quality Cloud services regardless of location. The data center features base systems for providing services that are built from system models - utilizing a combination of specialized hardware products, operating systems and middleware
