NVIDIA has been reportedly committed $40 billion to up-and-coming companies worldwide.
It made several notable investments before the end of the first half of 2026, with most of its capital directed toward AI ventures and also publicly traded companies.
During the early months of 2026, the chipmaker company completed seven multi-billion-dollar investments in listed companies, including $3.2 billion in Corning and $2.1 billion in IREN.
These aggressive moves from NVIDIA are still far from its investments in the entirety of 2025, particularly as the company invested in AI startups, which include 67 venture deals last year.
The company rapidly reached the $40 billion mark in 2026, driven largely by its $30 billion investment in OpenAI.
As per a news source, this is significantly smaller than the earlier pledge from NVIDIA, which was initially valued at $100 million.
