PLM project for DRDO Lab completed

ITC Infotech has successfully completed the implementation of PLM for Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE), a key division of DRDO for the development of combat vehicles and derivatives along with aircraft subsystems.

The CVRDE PLM implementation is the largest PLM project for DRDO laboratory in India with a user base of over 200. The project was implemented by a team of experts from ITC Infotech, within 12 months. The PLM implementation project involved interactions with 25 different divisions within CVRDE and designing and deploying a harmonious new product development process across CVRDE, starting from design, development, modelling, quality assurance, prototypes and incorporation of feed backs from different agencies.

Dr. P Sivakumar, Director, CVRDE said, “We are very pleased with the support provided by ITC Infotech for a timely implementation. ITC Infotech’s in-depth domain knowledge and process consulting capabilities have helped us streamline our product development process.”

Ashwani Maheshwari, CEO - India and APAC business, ITC Infotech, said, “ITC Infotech has an impeccable track record of delivering complex PLM implementations on time, across sectors, and we are happy to have completed all phases of the implementation as per plan. Going forward, we are confident that CVRDE will be able to significantly leverage this implementation for their projects and programs and drive innovation in product development.”
