Samsung Omnia W
Omnia W is the Samsung's latest Windows Phone. It packs in 1.4 GHz processor and comes with a 3.7-inch WVGA (800X480 pixels) super AMOLED display. The Samsung Omnia W is a compact little handset, which is also very light at 115 grams (4.07 ounces), despite the metal element on the back cover. It is pretty comfortable to hold and operate with one hand - thanks to the tapered edges and the reasonably-sized screen.
The 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display is a good differentiator among the other available Windows Phones. Its nice, saturated colours are quite appealing and its outdoor visibility is reasonably decent. The 480x800 pixels of resolution should result in good 252ppi pixel density. The 5-mega pixel camera located on the rear of the Samsung Omnia W has a LED flash and potential to shoot 720p HD videos.
The device runs on a 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor that makes running of the apps faster. Talking about the internet access, the Samsung Omnia W offers fast net surfing. It has smooth UI functionality and the processor supports hassle-free browsing, speedier scrolling through the menu and gives many more features to keep the users occupied. The device has all the popular connectivity features like any handset of its type should have like Wi-Fi, 14.4 Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth, A-GPS, and FM Radio with RDS.
Samsung positions it to be a mid-range smartphone, delivering an overall good user experience and flawless performance. The call quality on Samsung Omnia W is pretty good despite the absence of secondary microphone for active noise cancellation. Then, there are dual cameras and 3G support for video calling. It is, indeed, admirable that all these privileges come together with this Samsung Omnia W despite the absence of a dual-core processor, expandable memory all at an affordable price.
