SAP Private Equity Advisory Council in India
2012-05-07SAP India has launched its Private Equity Advisory Council in India. The council is aimed at maximizing enterprise value of the portfolio companies in India. With this advisory council, the PE firms in India can add value both at the firm level and the portfolio level through deeper insights into operations, best-in-class analytical tools and drive immediate business value with on-demand solutions.
SAP reaffirmed its commitment to enable PE customers across the PE lifecycle – through process and IT maturity, risk insights at the time of due-diligence, establishing governance frameworks and visibility during the holding period and ensuring IPO readiness at the time of exit.
Tamas Hevizi, Global Managing Director, SVP – SAP Private Equity said, “For the last three years we worked very closely with over 100 PE firms globally and 30 in Asia. We have developed a thorough understanding of how to best help the firms in the value creation efforts using SAP’s industry, business process and technology expertise. Our PE practice is well aligned with the PE lifecycle from due diligence through holding to the exit and helped over 150 PE portfolio companies in their Value Creation journey.”
Alok Goyal, COO, SAP India said, “Ensuring a robust governance framework and visibility into operations is becoming increasingly critical for Indian businesses – SAP is uniquely positioned to work with Private Equity firms to help them bring in proven business practices. The SAP Private Equity Advisory council is a great platform to bring together the private equity firms and to articulate how we can work closely with each other to drive enterprise value.”
