Shaadi-e-Khas has announced that they expect to record a 40 percent growth in its user base in the next 6 months, which are due to witness a high number of weddings. India's wedding season peaks from early November till late February each year as couples choose to wed in these auspicious months. According to rough estimates, nearly 7 million weddings are expected to take place in India during the following months.
Shaadi-e-Khas addresses the needs of both retail customers and wedding planners and ensures that any wedding, regardless of its size and spend can now be planned and organized using its planning and management tool. The tool helps manage guest invitations, RSVPs, guests' travel dates, budget and accounts, hotel reservations, vendors and artists, and upload wedding pictures and videos on a personal wedsite. The online tool provides a list of 8000 pre-screened vendors pan India, including florists, mehndi artists, caterers and videographers.
Delhi based couple, Abhishek and Akriti who planned their own wedding were overwhelmed by the simplicity of its usage. “I always wanted to organize my wedding myself but was very nervous when the time came. When I heard about Shaadi-e-Khas, I got excited that such a thing also existed for those couples who did not want to hire the expensive wedding planners. Amazing yet simple to use”, said Akriti.
