Simmtronics now forays into Smartphone segment with XPAD Range

After the launch of XPAD- Tablets in India, Simmtronics Semiconductors has now forayed into the mobile segment with the launch of “XPAD-Smartphones” across all segments starting from entry- to high-end technology products. The innovatively designed, power-packed full-featured devices are equipped with single-core to superior Quad Core processer. The company has already launched these products in the UAE market, during GITEX 2013 and has received overwhelming response from Africa, Egypt, GCC and CIS countries.
 
Indrajit Sabharwal, Managing Director, Simmtronics, stated, “The smartphone usability is increasing day by day, we decided to foray into the smartphone segment with the launch of XPAD range of smartphones in affordable price range. This innovatively designed device is enriched with a high-end technology.”

“I am sure these smartphones will enrich user’s experience with its great technology and features,” added Sabharwal.

Anticipating growth, the Company is also gearing up for local production of the same. The Company has announced its investment of Rs.200 crore in the smartphone segment with a turnover of  Rs.550 crore. Moreover, the company is targeting Rs.800-crore revenue in the next fiscal.
 
The smartphone range comprises of FUNDROID, AMAZOID and SMARTDROID series of phones.
