Sonata Software wins Microsoft AI Business Solutions Inner Circle award for sixth time

The AI-first modernization engineering firm has been named to Microsoft's 2026-2027 Inner Circle, placing it among the top global partners in the company's AI Business Solutions network, backed by a three-decade association.

Sonata Software, an AI-first Modernization Engineering company, has received the 2026-2027 Microsoft AI Business Solutions Inner Circle award. It is the company's sixth Inner Circle recognition and places it in the top tier of Microsoft's global AI Business Solutions partner network.

The award builds on Sonata's relationship with Microsoft, which spans more than 30 years, and on its continued investment in full-stack AI capabilities.

Through Sonata Harmoni.AI, its Responsible-first AI tooling, the company combines capabilities in AI-led modernization, AI-ready data, resilient AI operations and AI-led service delivery. The aim is to help enterprises move from AI experimentation to business impact at scale.

Anthony Lange, Chief Revenue Officer, Sonata Software, said: "The ability to embrace AI to deliver value and enterprise velocity will differentiate organizations in an AI-led era. Our sixth Inner Circle recognition reflects the engineering depth we bring to helping enterprises turn AI into measurable business value. Together with Microsoft, we're helping them move from systems of record to systems capable of autonomous action."

What the Inner Circle represents

Microsoft describes Inner Circle partners as its top-selling partners worldwide. Niels Jensen, Microsoft AI Business Solutions ERP Lead in Enterprise Partner Solutions, said the honour goes beyond sales performance.

"Inner Circle partners represent our top selling partners worldwide. But it is more than a sales recognition; it's a community of industry leaders who work closely with Microsoft to accelerate innovation, share experience and shape the future of AI-powered business transformation. The collaboration and commitment to customer success demonstrated by this community helps us advance the entire AI Business Solutions partner ecosystem around the world to deliver transformative business outcomes at scale," Jensen said.

Deepening Microsoft engagement

Sonata's capabilities span Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, Fabric, Power Platform and Copilot, which it uses to help enterprises modernize technology and business processes for AI.

The company recently joined Microsoft's Copilot Agents & Platform (CAP) Engineering Depth Partners program and became a Microsoft Frontier Partner. These steps deepen its engagement with Microsoft's Engineering and Product teams as it works to advance and scale agentic AI.
