Sony India has introduced a new lineup of 16 BRAVIA professional displays featuring AI-powered XR processing, Deep Black Non-Glare technology and energy-efficient designs to support enterprise, education, retail, transportation and public sector digital display applications.
Sony India has expanded its professional display portfolio with the launch of the BRAVIA professional displays BZ-P Series, a new range of 16 commercial display models designed for enterprise, education, retail, transportation and government applications.
The new portfolio comprises the flagship BZ40P Series, enhanced BZ35P Series and core BZ30P Series, with screen sizes ranging from 43 inches to 85 inches. The 4K HDR displays combine Sony's Deep Black Non-Glare technology, AI-powered XR image processing and integrated software capabilities to deliver improved picture quality, operational efficiency and deployment flexibility for commercial environments.
The company said the displays have been redesigned with a thinner and lighter form factor while offering lower power consumption, simplified installation and enhanced operational features to meet the evolving needs of businesses.
Commenting on the launch, Sunil Nayyar, Managing Director, Sony India, said: "India's professional display market is witnessing strong momentum, driven by the rapid expansion of digital infrastructure across enterprises, retail, education, transportation and public sector environments. With the launch of the new BRAVIA Professional Displays BZ-P Series, Sony continues to strengthen its commitment to delivering industry-leading display solutions that combine exceptional picture quality, operational efficiency, reliability and sustainability. Featuring our advanced Deep Black Non-Glare technology, AI-powered XR processing, integrated System-on-Chip architecture and energy-efficient design, the new lineup is designed to deliver superior visibility and seamless performance even in demanding commercial environments. The BZ-P Series empowers organizations to create more immersive and impactful visual experiences while benefiting from ease of deployment, operational flexibility and long-term value."
AI-powered processing and anti-glare technology enhance viewing experience
The BRAVIA BZ-P Series is powered by Sony's XR signal processing technology, which enhances image clarity, colour accuracy and overall realism. The lineup offers brightness levels ranging from 400 nits to 700 nits, enabling visibility across a variety of commercial environments.
A key feature of the new displays is Sony's Deep Black Non-Glare technology, available in Premium and Standard variants. The flagship models offer up to 47% anti-glare performance, while the enhanced and core series provide up to 25% anti-glare capability. Combined with wide viewing angles, the technology is designed to minimise reflections while maintaining contrast and colour performance, even in brightly lit environments.
Designed for easier installation and content management
Sony has redesigned the BZ-P Series to simplify deployment across commercial installations. The displays feature a thinner chassis, narrow bezels and a universal design that supports portrait orientation and videowall configurations.
The company has also introduced centrally positioned VESA mounting holes to ease installation, while integrated carrying handles on the 75-inch and 85-inch models are intended to simplify transportation and deployment.
For digital signage applications, the displays integrate a built-in System-on-Chip (SoC), eliminating the need for an external media player. A redesigned user interface and setup programme further streamline installation, while compatibility testing with major content management system (CMS) providers is intended to ensure seamless integration into existing digital signage ecosystems.
Built for continuous commercial operations
Sony said the BZ-P Series has been engineered to deliver reliable performance in demanding business environments.
Selected models in the BZ40P and BZ35P Series feature IP5X-compliant dust resistance, making them suitable for deployment in transportation hubs, warehouses, industrial facilities and retail environments where displays are expected to operate continuously.
The company added that the displays have been designed to maintain consistent performance while helping organizations maximise operational uptime.
Focus on energy efficiency and sustainability
Alongside performance enhancements, Sony has incorporated several energy-saving features into the new lineup.
The company said the displays use a new high-efficiency optical system combined with AI-based backlight control powered by the XR processor, enabling up to 31% lower power consumption compared to the previous BZ-L Series.
The BZ-P Series is Energy Star certified and is awaiting EPEAT certification. Sony has also increased the use of its proprietary SORPLAS recycled plastic material to as much as 43% in selected models as part of its sustainability initiatives.
Additionally, the built-in ECO Dashboard allows organizations to monitor energy usage, optimise settings and better manage the environmental impact of display operations.
Three product series cater to different business needs
Sony has segmented the new portfolio into three product categories to address varying enterprise requirements.
The flagship BZ40P Series includes four models from 55 inches to 85 inches, featuring 700 nits brightness, Deep Black Non-Glare Premium technology and IP5X dust resistance for demanding commercial environments.
The BZ35P Series comprises six models ranging from 43 inches to 85 inches. Equipped with 500 nits brightness and Deep Black Non-Glare Standard technology, the series is positioned as a balanced option for a wide range of commercial applications.
Meanwhile, the BZ30P Series also includes six models between 43 inches and 85 inches. Offering 400 nits brightness and Deep Black Non-Glare Standard technology, the series is targeted at everyday professional display deployments.
