The Number Plate Reader (NPR) is these days required for several CCTV applications. It has a vast usage from companies access controls to petrol station surveillance to Parking Area's entrance of government or commercial building. The clear recognition of car's licence plate may add a great value to CCTV video-recording systems. Sparsh's state-of-the-art technologies make their NPR the best-of-breed number plate reading camera available today.
Reading a vehicle number plate is a too difficult job for a standard CCTV camera. The main problem is the exposure caused by headlight at night, but even during the day the light causes reflection on the number plate that makes the number reading virtually impossible. NPR is a special camera, which has been specifically designed for NPR systems in such drastic conditions.
