Telegram has rolled out its latest features introducing collaborative checklists, suggested posts and enhanced monetization options for creators. The new update makes task tracking effortless, enables channel subscribers to participate in content creation and opens up new avenues for creators to earn directly from within the Telegram ecosystem, all while preserving user privacy and platform integrity.
· Checklists
Premium users can now create interactive checklists in any chat to track progress, manage tasks, and coordinate with others in real time. Whether planning a group project or organizing a grocery list, users can send checklists in group chats, 1-on-1 conversations, or even their Saved Messages.
With granular controls, creators can set who can mark items complete or add new entries. To get started, tap the attachment menu and select ‘Checklist’.
· Suggest Posts in Channels
Subscribers can now suggest content to channels they follow — including promotional videos, product reviews, fan art, and more. This new feature allows followers to engage more directly, and gives creators a convenient, secure way to receive and review content from their communities.
To suggest a post, users can tap the message bar icon when sending a direct message to a channel. Suggested posts can be scheduled for a specific date or submitted flexibly for review.
· Fund Suggested Posts
To support creators, Telegram now enables users to fund suggested posts using either Telegram Stars or Toncoin. Channel owners receive the reward 24 hours after the post goes live — and in case the post is removed earlier, the full amount is automatically refunded to the sender.
Stars and Toncoin can be purchased via Fragment and @PremiumBot, offering flexible payment options across platforms — especially for users without access to Apple or Google Pay.
· Monetizing via Suggested Posts
Suggested posts offer a built-in monetization tool for channels of any size — allowing creators to crowdsource content, enable affiliate promotions, and earn revenue securely, all without leaving Telegram.
Creators have the ability to edit and negotiate the submitted content before publishing. While Telegram Stars offer flexibility, payments via Toncoin are final and non-refundable, making them a more secure option for monetization.
