Thecus launches N2310 2-Bay Home NAS Storage Solution
Apical has announced the launch of 2-Bay Home NAS: Thecus N2310 storage solution for home users which is equipped with an Advanced Micro Circuits Corporation (AMCC) 800MHz SoC processor and 512MB of DDR3 RAM.
N2310 not only offers users access and control of their files over the internet, but it also streams stored media to Android and iOS mobile devices. A user, who often shares and downloads files online, can drop the seed file into the N2310's BitTorrent client and N2310 will manage the rest.
Once the user has connected N2310 to home network, they will have to download and run intelligent NAS. It will automatically find NAS and allow the user to easily set up RAID or JBOD volume. Once it is running, Intelligent NAS will also allow users to effortlessly connect to the N2310's operating system ThecusOS 6, where one can monitor, configure and update NAS and modules.
The N2310's AMCC processor powers the storage device to reduce the day-to-day running cost, making it negligible.
