The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) has announced a photo contest in association with Canon India to capture the mood of an emerging 'Enterprising India' visually. The prize winning and select short-listed entries will be on display at the TiE Entrepreneurial Summit 2010 being held at the Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi from December 21 to 23, 2010.

Being organized in association with the leading digital imaging and camera company, the entries will be judged by a panel drawn from Canon India and TiE Delhi-NCR's members. The top three entries will receive the latest Canon cameras as prizes.

"The TiE photo contest will help capture a variety of moods and evolution of an Enterprising India, ranging from shots of how entrepreneurs are touching the lives of Indians all the way to how a modern India is being shaped by tens of thousands of first- generation entrepreneurs," says Geetika Dayal, Executive Director, TiE Delhi-NCR.

Sharing TiE's commitment to enabling an Enterprising India, Alok Bhardwaj, Senior Vice- President, Canon India, said, "In keeping with its goal to encourage photography across a variety of sections, Canon hopes to capture facets of the New India being fostered by TiE through enterprising Indians who are innovating continuously, adapting new technologies and building an even better future for a billion Indians."
