According to In-stat's global market research report for Q2 of 2011, TP-LINK WLAN product and Broadband CPE is said to be keeping the No.1 in shipping quantity worldwide, and TP-LINK Switch product has grabbed the No. 2 worldwide in shipping quantity.
In Q2'11, worldwide revenue for the Wi-Fi Network Equipment market remained relatively flat compared toQ1'11, remaining at $1.61 billion in Q2'11. Revenue was up 23.3% Y/Y. Shipments in Q2'11 increased by 6.9% Q/Q, and grew by 25.3% Y/Y.
Unit shipments were 14.5million, up 3.0% from the previous quarter and an 18.4% increase from the same quarter last year. Revenues were $680.0 million, a 4.4% decrease from the previous quarter and a 3.5% increase from the same quarter last year. TP-LINK now has the lead in unit market share with D-Link continuing to hold the second leading position.
