Union Cabinet Minister for Road Transport and Highways Oscar Fernandes has officially launched an integrated bus ticket portal – Busindia.com. This portal will bring together bus transport operators across the country under a single window, thus facilitating passengers to plan their bus travel across Indian cities with ease. Bangalore-based technology solutions company, Radiant Info Systems Ltd (Radiant Info), has developed this portal in partnership with the Central Institute of Road Transport (CIRT).

Mr Oscar Fernandes, Union Cabinet Minister for Road Transport and Highways, said, It gives me great pleasure to offer Busindia.com to all citizens of India and anyone across the world who wishes to plan bus travel in the country. This is an important milestone in transportation services in our country and I am proud that we have been able to achieve this. I compliment the efforts of Radiant Info and their team who have relentlessly worked over several years to integrate all state services into one single portal.
Venu Myneni, Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO, Radiant Info, commented, t has been our dream project since the launch of the first online bus ticketing system we did in 2006. With bus services in India connecting to remote locations within the country, this service will now be useful to anyone in India and abroad to easily plan their travel within the country.
All the vehicles and services on BusIndia.com will be operated as per pre-defined schedule route and timings with definite trips. This will help and assist the passengers in better planning and management of their itineraries.
