Vivo V9 smartphone features a notch at the front. This phone comes with an almost bezel-less display and is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It has a screen size of 6.3-inch FHD+ Full View Display. The display comes with 19:9 screen ratio with crisp colours and a clarity of the stunning Full View display.
On the back the phone has a glossy finish. The Vivo V9 has an aluminium back and the device is 7.9mm thick. It’s a surprisingly easy to use device considering its size. The other usual set of specifications include the 3.5mm audio jack, speaker grille and microUSB port which are located at the bottom. The left side is home to the hybrid SIM slot whereas the usual suspects like the power button and volume rockers find a space on the right hand side.
The Vivo V9 runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and comes with dual 16+5-megapixel rear shooters which can capture detailed and quality images and videos. Also, there is an LED flash that helps you shoot in the dark. On the front, to assist selfies and video calling, the smartphone is bundled with a 24-megapixel front camera along with an AI-assisted beautify mode, which can automatically enhance your selfies. The overall quality of selfies is quite good, as the camera manages to capture plenty of details. The camera also gets modes like group selfies, videos, and AR Stickers. Vivo V9 is powered with a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 626 SoC and 4GB of RAM that ensures smooth running even while you are working on multiple apps at the same time or playing graphics-intensive games. It has non-removable Li-Ion 3,260mAh battery.
For connectivity, you get options like 4G with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, NFC, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
