India’s love story with Bollywood is eternal - a recent survey by Yahoo! India reaffirms one’s fascination with the dream merchants. The online survey, conducted amongst a cross-section of Yahoo! users visiting sites such as Movies, News, Lifestyle and omg!, reveals that Hrithik Roshan (18%) is considered the Ultimate Style Icon of India, followed closely by M.S. Dhoni (16%) and Shahrukh Khan (15%).
Three-fourths of the survey respondents comprised the youth (aged between 18- 34 years). Interestingly, 42% of the survey participation came from users not residing in the top eight metros – clearly reflecting the expanding reach of the Internet in tier 2 cities, and the continued fascination of Indians with glamour and glitterati.
