With plans to expand its partner base across the country, Xerox India will roll out multi-city road shows across tier-2 cities - Agra, Karnal, Amritsar, Jabalpur, Ranchi and Patna. Xerox will also showcase its range of printers in the entry-level A4 and MFD category -Xerox Phaser 3210N, 3220DN, 3100, 3155, 3160 & 6125 color laser. In phase 2, in August and September 2010, Xerox will cover the southern half of the country to educate partners on Xerox products and solutions and showcase its offerings.
Commenting on the road shows, Shailendra Sarup, Associate Director, Xerox India Ltd., said, "As part of our pan-India expansion plan for this year, we are looking at strengthening and expanding our channel base to upcountry markets. Through our sub-distributor network in these cities, we plan to tap about 40-50 resellers in each centre and equip them with Xerox products in A4 single function and multifunction laser devices so that they meet up to the growing demand coming from these centres." He also added, "Through these road shows, we plan to add 250 new resellers to our network across the country by the end of this year."
Xerox India will provide direct pre-sales/post-sales support to these partners to deliver maximum benefits to customers. With the partner engagement model, Xerox India will ensure that these partners are well trained and are equipped with collaterals to enable them to sell Xerox products and services. Xerox India will also look at co-branded marketing seminars and customer events to support the partners in these centres.
