Zomato.com has introduced several user and content features in its new avatar. The "Open Now" filter feature enables users to search for delivery, dine-out or nightlife options open at that particular time. This feature is very helpful late in the night or early morning when not all restaurants are open.

For the restaurant search experience, a user can now not only submit reviews and share it on Twitter or Facebook with a click, but can also build custom restaurant lists, add restaurants to favourites and all of this information can be accessed from the user's profile page on Zomato.

If you happen to be the owner of a restaurant, simply claim the ownership of his restaurant on Zomato and gain access to invaluable information such as number of users visiting the restaurant listing, updates on a new user review submission along with options to update the latest details with menus and photos, connect with customers by replying to reviews and more! Zomato has taken the search experience to a whole new level with these additions.

The website is nearly 3 years old and is present in 10 cities across India - Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Chandigarh. Zomato recently raised an investment of Rs.4.7 crore from Info Edge to fund its product development and marketing.
