As the curtains rose on the WAVES 2025 Summit, Adobe made it clear: the next generation of world-class content, powered by generative AI and fueled by Indian ingenuity, is just getting started.
At the inaugural of WAVES Summit 2025, global creative software leader Adobe unveiled a bold and expansive blueprint to support India’s emergence as a global hub of digital creativity, innovation, and AI-powered design. Under its ambitious “Create in India, Create for the World” vision, the company announced a range of initiatives, including a new campus, groundbreaking collaborations, and generative AI tools tailor-made for the Indian creative ecosystem.

In a landmark move reflecting Adobe’s long-term commitment to India, the company announced the launch of its third campus in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, slated to open in early 2026. This cutting-edge facility will serve as a center of excellence for India innovation, focusing on research and development across AI, content creation, and user experience design.
“India is at the heart of Adobe’s global innovation strategy,” said Prativa Mohapatra, Vice President and Managing Director of Adobe India. “The new campus will strengthen our roots in India and drive the future of creative tools, digital education, and content intelligence powered by AI.”
Fueling AI-Powered Creativity
A central highlight of Adobe’s announcement was the localized rollout of Adobe Firefly, the company’s flagship generative AI model for creators. With Firefly now available in major Indian languages and trained on culturally relevant datasets, Adobe aims to democratize high-quality visual design and storytelling for India’s vast creator community—from graphic designers and animators to marketers and content entrepreneurs.
“Adobe Firefly opens up new frontiers for digital creativity. We’re empowering creators in India to design with speed, authenticity, and cultural relevance—without needing deep technical skills,” said Scott Belsky, Chief Strategy Officer, Adobe.
Firefly’s capabilities include AI-generated imagery, text-to-design templates, instant background removal, and adaptive branding tools—all integrated across popular Adobe apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Express.
Emphasizing the role of education and enterprise in enabling India’s creative potential, Adobe unveiled a series of high-impact strategic partnerships:
TCS x Adobe AI Creative Studio: Adobe has joined hands with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to launch a state-of-the-art AI Creative Studio in Pune. The facility will focus on exploring the intersection of enterprise branding, digital marketing, and generative AI, with applications for both local startups and global brands.
Collaboration with the Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT): Adobe will collaborate with IICT to develop specialized curricula on AI design, visual storytelling, and immersive content creation. The partnership aims to train over 25,000 students annually through hybrid programs and industry-led workshops.
MoU with Accenture for Nationwide Education Push: In partnership with Accenture, Adobe signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to empower students in over 50 design institutes and PM SHRI schools across India. The collaboration will provide access to Adobe Creative Cloud, Firefly, and instructor-led digital skills training aligned with India’s National Education Policy.
“These collaborations signal the next wave of digital skilling,” said Mohapatra. “Our goal is to ensure that every aspiring creative professional in India, regardless of geography or background, has access to world-class tools and training.”
Empowering India’s Next Billion Creators
With its growing footprint in India, investment in talent, and commitment to inclusive innovation, Adobe is poised to catalyze the rise of India as a global creative capital. By blending Make in India values with Create in India vision, Adobe’s roadmap for 2025 and beyond positions it not just as a tech partner, but as a cultural and economic enabler for India’s creative future.
As India rapidly transforms into a creator economy fueled by smartphones, social media, and storytelling platforms, Adobe’s initiatives align seamlessly with the government’s “Create in India” mission. From urban art studios to rural digital classrooms, Adobe is bridging talent with technology—enabling local creators to think global from day one.
