Aerospace and defence leader Rolls-Royce has officially opened its newly expanded Global Capability and Innovation Centre in Bengaluru, marking its largest global capability hub to date.
The state-of-the-art facility will integrate digital capabilities, enterprise services, and engineering teams that support Rolls-Royce’s civil aerospace and defence businesses worldwide. This strategic move further cements Bengaluru’s position as India’s premier aerospace and defence hub, recognized for advanced engineering and innovation.
Helen McCabe, Chief Financial Officer of Rolls-Royce plc, highlighted India’s growing role in the company’s global operations. “India is significant to Rolls-Royce's global journey of innovation and progress. This newly expanded Global Capability and Innovation Centre reaffirms our commitment to India and will be our largest capability hub,” she said.
McCabe added that Rolls-Royce remains focused on strengthening local capabilities, nurturing Indian talent, and deepening partnerships with industry stakeholders. The Bengaluru centre is designed to drive digital transformation, foster co-creation of solutions, and deliver future-ready innovations that create greater value for customers in India and across international markets.
