At the core of GABIT’s ecosystem is its AI-powered Smart Ring, awarded “Best Smart Ring of the Year” at BITA 2025, featuring a lightweight titanium design, water resistance, 7–10 days battery life, and integrated AI health coaching with real-time insights
Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor has joined India’s wellness movement in a big way—not just as a brand ambassador, but also as an investor and believer in GABIT, a rising health-tech startup aiming to transform how Indians approach fitness, nutrition, and longevity.
Joining Kapoor is music icon Badshah, alongside other notable industry names, all backing GABIT’s mission to make health simple, smart, and sustainable. Founded in 2022 by Gaurav Gupta and Arpana Shahi, GABIT is already making waves with its integrated approach to everyday wellness and a product that’s gaining national recognition.
A smart ring that does more than track
At the heart of GABIT’s ecosystem is its AI-powered Smart Ring, recently awarded “Best Smart Ring of the Year” at Amazon India’s Best in Tech Awards (BITA) 2025. Designed to blend into users’ lifestyles, the ring offers 7–10 days of battery life, is water-resistant, and built with lightweight titanium.
What sets GABIT apart is the ring’s integration with an AI health coach called PEP, personalized coaching in fitness and nutrition, and science-backed health supplements. It doesn’t just collect data—it helps users understand and act on it through real-time insights into fitness, sleep, stress, and nutrition.
“Taking care of yourself shouldn’t feel like a full-time job,” said Kapoor. “The GABIT Smart Ring quietly fits into your life. No noise, no distractions—just real change.”
Badshah echoed the sentiment: “In my world, performance is everything, and it starts with health. GABIT mixes tech, habit-building, and fun. That’s why I wanted in.”
Big backing, bold vision
With $9.5 million in funding from Norwest Venture Partners and support from top industry figures like Deepinder Goyal (Zomato) and Kunal Shah (CRED), GABIT is poised for rapid growth.
Co-founder Gaurav Gupta summed it up: “We built GABIT to make wellness doable, not daunting. With champions like Ranbir and Badshah, we’re ready to make good health second nature for millions.”
