AMD launches Optional Adrenalin AI Bundle
AMD has released AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.1.1, introducing AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition AI Bundle - an optional, streamlined installer that allows developers and creatives to start building and running local AI workloads with supported AMD Ryzen and Radeon processors and graphics cards.
With the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition AI Bundle, AMD brings next-level simplicity to local AI setup. Integrated as an optional feature within the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition application, the AI Bundle lets you install everything you need to start building and running AI workloads, with just one click.
Traditionally, getting an AI stack ready on Windows meant multiple steps and frequent detours: graphics drivers, Python environments, framework downloads, environment variables, and versions that don’t play nicely together. It’s time-consuming and fragile, especially when you just want to focus on creating, experimenting, or shipping features.
The Adrenalin AI Bundle changes that, automatically configuring your AMD-powered system with essential AI tools, including –
· PyTorch on Windows – Build and train models from scratch or load exist models for inference
· ComfyUI – Visual workflows for image generation, accelerated by ROCm PyTorch
· Ollama – Run LLMs locally for text generation and prototyping
· LM Studio – Install and run large language models with easy parameter tuning
· Amuse – AMD optimized text-to-image generation
The Adrenalin AI Bundle is supported on AMD Radeon™ RX 9000 Series and RX 7000 Series GPUs (RX 7700 or higher), as well as AMD Ryzen™ AI Max, AI 400, and AI 300 Series processors, allowing compatible systems to run AI workloads locally without cloud costs.
Additional Highlights from the Adrenalin 26.1.1 driver include -
· New Product Support: Ryzen AI 9 HX 475, Ryzen AI 9 HX 470, Ryzen AI 9 465, Ryzen AI 7 450, Ryzen AI 7 445, Ryzen AI 5 435, Ryzen AI 5 430
· New Game Support: Starsand Island, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - From the Ashes Edition
