Digital services provider Coforge has deepened its collaboration with Microsoft to enhance developer productivity through Artificial Intelligence (AI). The initiative is part of Coforge’s AI-first strategy, aimed at modernizing legacy applications and accelerating new software development for clients. This strengthened Coforge-Microsoft partnership underscores the growing importance of AI in software innovation.
As part of this initiative, Coforge has trained over 10,000 developers on GitHub Copilot, a tool designed to streamline coding processes through AI assistance. This extensive GitHub Copilot training enables developers to work more efficiently and transition outdated applications into modern frameworks. Additionally, the company has built AI-powered solutions leveraging GitHub Copilot, furthering its role in Microsoft GitHub Copilot collaboration to optimize software development workflows across industries.
Coforge has also earned the prestigious ‘Accelerate Developer Productivity with Microsoft Azure’ specialization, previously known as ‘DevOps with GitHub Advanced Specialization.’ This certification acknowledges organizations that drive developer efficiency using Microsoft’s AI-integrated tools. To qualify, Coforge met rigorous benchmarks, demonstrating expertise in Microsoft and GitHub technologies and significant Azure engagement.
Boosting productivity through AI solutions
Matt Finkelstein, Vice President of Global Microsoft and Partner Solution Sales at GitHub, praised Coforge’s achievement, emphasizing that it will enable businesses to enhance efficiency and streamline software development processes through AI-powered developer productivity solutions.
Coforge’s Executive Vice President and Head of Microsoft Business, Vic Gupta, reiterated the company’s commitment to AI-driven innovation, citing a 30% productivity boost in fresh code development for a client by forward-engineering legacy applications.
Earlier this month, Coforge expanded its AI focus by strengthening its partnership with ServiceNow to establish a Generative AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Greater Noida. The CoE integrates Coforge’s AI framework, Quasar, with ServiceNow’s AI Agents to assist enterprises in deploying AI-powered solutions. The initiative aims to drive AI adoption in financial services, insurance, healthcare, and travel sectors, with applications in fraud detection, payment processing, dispute resolution, and digital operations.
Coforge CEO and Executive Director Sudhir Singh highlighted the company’s strategic investments in AI, stating that the AI Centre of Excellence will accelerate the adoption of the ServiceNow platform, driving business transformation through intelligent automation.
