Equinix Introduces Fabric Intelligence and AI Solutions Lab to Power Global Enterprise AI Workloads
2025-09-27
At its first AI Summit 2025, Equinix has unveiled a comprehensive distributed AI infrastructure designed to accelerate enterprise AI adoption and support the growing demand for artificial intelligence workloads across industries. The announcement included the launch of Fabric Intelligence software, a global AI Solutions Lab, and a robust AI partner ecosystem to help enterprises deploy AI at scale across multi-cloud and multi-region environments.
Equinix highlighted that traditional infrastructure is not built for the complexity of AI training, inference, and data sovereignty, which require low-latency, secure, and high-performance networks. Leveraging its 270 data centers across 77 global markets, Equinix is positioning itself as a leader in AI-ready infrastructure and enterprise connectivity solutions.
One of the key innovations, Fabric Intelligence, will be available in Q1 2026. Built on Equinix Fabric, the software integrates with AI orchestration tools and uses real-time telemetry to automate routing and network segmentation. This reduces manual intervention and enables faster, more secure AI workload deployment for enterprises looking to scale machine learning and deep learning applications.
Equinix also launched the AI Solutions Lab, now operational across 20 facilities in 10 countries. The lab provides businesses with access to Equinix’s extensive AI ecosystem of over 2,000 partners, allowing them to test and validate solutions, collaborate with technology providers, and accelerate their AI innovation strategies.
By partnering with companies like GroqCloud, Equinix will provide direct, private connections to inference platforms, bringing AI workloads closer to data generation points. This move is set to enhance responsiveness, reduce latency, and simplify enterprise AI operations.
With Fabric Intelligence, AI Solutions Lab, and its global infrastructure, Equinix is aiming to become the backbone of enterprise AI transformation, helping businesses harness the full potential of artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing in a secure, scalable, and efficient way.
