ESDS unveils India-built sovereign security platforms Swaraj Nandi and Swaraj Hansa

The Made-in-India Privileged Access Management (PAM) and AI-powered SIEM platforms are designed to help enterprises strengthen cyber resilience, simplify regulatory compliance and reduce dependence on foreign security infrastructure across critical sectors.

ESDS Software Solution Limited has introduced Swaraj Nandi and Swaraj Hansa, two sovereign enterprise security platforms developed entirely in India to help organisations secure critical infrastructure, strengthen cyber resilience and meet evolving regulatory requirements. The launches reinforce the company's focus on building indigenous cloud and cybersecurity technologies as India pushes towards greater digital sovereignty.

The announcement was made in the presence of Dr. Ashwani Mahajan, National Co-Convener of the Swadeshi Jagaran Manch and noted economist, who attended the event as the chief guest.

The two platforms join ESDS's growing portfolio of homegrown enterprise technologies, which already includes Swaraj AIOPS, Swaraj Garuda and Swaraj Jatayoo. According to the company, the portfolio represents a sustained effort to develop enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions entirely within India rather than relying on imported technologies.

Targeting two major security gaps

The company said the new platforms address two persistent weaknesses at the centre of many enterprise cyber incidents—controlling privileged access to critical systems and ensuring timely visibility into security threats.

Swaraj Nandi is a Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform that enables organisations to manage privileged credentials, monitor user sessions and maintain tamper-resistant audit trails. Swaraj Hansa is an AI-powered autonomous Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform designed to help security teams identify, investigate and respond to cyber threats more efficiently.

According to ESDS, Swaraj Hansa evolved from challenges experienced by its own Security Operations Centre (SOC), where analysts struggled with increasing alert volumes, manual onboarding of new data sources and repetitive investigation processes.

Zero Trust meets AI-driven security

ESDS said organisations continue to face growing risks from privileged credential sprawl, inadequate session monitoring, limited audit visibility and unmanaged third-party access. At the same time, security operations teams are dealing with alert fatigue, shortages of skilled analysts and increasing complexity in monitoring modern IT environments. Tightening compliance requirements from regulators including RBI, SEBI and IRDAI have further increased the need for auditable, real-time security controls.

Platforms designed for security and compliance

Swaraj Nandi serves as a centralised control platform for privileged access management, allowing enterprises to securely vault and automatically rotate privileged credentials such as root passwords, service accounts, API keys and SSH keys. Built on Zero Trust principles, the platform requires explicit approvals and multi-factor authentication before privileged sessions can be established. Every session is recorded in a searchable, tamper-resistant audit trail, while built-in behavioural analytics help identify suspicious activities before they can cause damage.

Swaraj Hansa complements this by providing AI-powered security monitoring across enterprise environments. The platform collects, correlates and prioritises security events while presenting every alert with a plain-language explanation to help analysts understand why it has been flagged. ESDS said the platform also reduces operational complexity by automating repetitive SOC tasks, enabling guided onboarding of new data sources through low-code workflows and supporting high-availability deployments in private cloud and air-gapped environments where complete data sovereignty is essential.

Industry backs indigenous innovation
