Samsung, India’s leading consumer electronics brand, has announced a significant expansion of its flagship CSR programme, Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC). The initiative aims to train 20,000 students in future technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data analytics, and coding & programming across 10 states in 2025—an impressive six-fold increase from last year’s 3,500 students.
Aligned with the Government of India’s Skill India and Digital India missions, Samsung Innovation Campus is designed to equip youth with the digital skills required for the evolving technology-driven economy. Beyond technical knowledge, students will receive soft skills training to enhance workplace readiness and be supported with placement assistance to boost employability in sectors like tech startups, telecommunications, manufacturing, and more.
A special focus will be on Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, with 5,000 students from each state receiving priority training. Through partnerships with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) and the Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC), Samsung will ensure the programme reaches underserved and semi-urban communities, promoting inclusivity in digital transformation.
Since its launch in 2022, Samsung Innovation Campus has already trained 6,500 students, and this expansion is a critical step toward bridging the skills gap, empowering youth, and enhancing India’s global competitiveness in emerging technologies. The initiative is a key pillar of Samsung’s CSR efforts, alongside programmes like Samsung Solve for Tomorrow, fostering creativity, innovation, and social good.
Samsung’s commitment to empowering India’s youth reinforces the importance of AI-powered learning, IoT integration, and big data skills development, ensuring that students are prepared to thrive in the digital economy of the future.
