Samsung previews AI-powered WindFree ACs for smarter, energy-efficient home cooling in India
Samsung has offered an early glimpse of its next-generation cooling innovations in India, signalling a shift toward smarter, more energy-efficient air conditioning solutions for modern homes. The company, India’s largest consumer electronics brand, said the upcoming range reflects a broader evolution in how comfort, intelligence and sustainability will shape residential cooling.
With the message, “The future of AI AC is coming,” Samsung is positioning its latest developments as a move beyond traditional air conditioning. The preview hints at a new phase of AI-driven cooling that adapts more closely to user behaviour, home environments and Indian climate conditions, rather than relying on fixed or manual settings.
At the centre of this preview is the upcoming Bespoke AI WindFree Air Conditioner lineup. The range is designed to blend advanced artificial intelligence with premium aesthetics and smart connectivity, aiming to deliver a more personalised and refined cooling experience. Samsung said the new lineup is being tailored specifically for Indian households, where energy efficiency and adaptive performance are increasingly important.
Key features expected in the Bespoke AI WindFree series include WindFree Cooling, which evenly disperses air without direct drafts, and AI Fast & WindFree Cooling+, which intelligently balances rapid cooling with sustained comfort. The air conditioners will also support AI Energy Mode, helping users optimise power consumption without compromising cooling performance.
Additional capabilities include preventive maintenance features that monitor system health and SmartThings integration, allowing users to control and manage cooling through connected devices. This integration is expected to enable better energy tracking, remote operation and seamless coordination with other smart home products.
Samsung has not yet shared pricing or launch timelines, but the preview underscores the company’s focus on combining AI intelligence, energy management and connected experiences in its next generation of home cooling solutions.
